I'm a keen lover of stationery; pretty notebooks, pastel pens and quirky erasers always catch my eye - but most of all I love stationery with more of a purpose, rather than just looking good on a desk.
Organisers are a great tool for anyone on the go. I normally use my phone to note all my future appointments, but it's a good idea to have a more visual reminder of what's coming up in the next few days.
I was asked to review ACCO's Quartet Magnetic Weekly Organiser* - a magnetic board that breaks up your week for you. It comes with a rewritable marker, so that you can alter the days as you go, and a corkboard area, so that you can pin up any extra notes or reminders. It also comes complete with magnets and foam adhesive tape, for easy mounting on a magnetic surface, i.e. a filing cabinet or whiteboard.
The board itself isn't the most appealing thing to look at. It's whiteboard effect reminds me of my school days, and the corkboard section is very officey, but with a little touch of personalisation, it can look at home in any abode. I've used LED lights and family photos to make it look the part in my room.
At only £6.49 from Shoplet, this is a good deal for any of you whom are in need of visual reminders. Shoplet are a company that stocks all varieties of office stationery for businesses and individuals.
