Almond Butter Raspberry Smoothie




   Incredibly, as much as I like smearing condiments on toast and consuming them, almond butter is not my favourite spread at all, so I prefer to use it as an ingredient in meals. Filipino kare-kare is a favourite; this is usually made with peanut butter but I substitute it for almond butter, as it's much more healthy.

   Today, I've filmed a video of a quick and simple recipe for an almond butter and raspberry smoothie. This is fairly thick, so use a lot of milk if you like your smoothies fairly thin!

Ingredients:

- 3 tablespoons of almond butter (I got mine from My Protein*)
- 1 sliced avocado
- 1 sliced banana
- 1 handful of raspberries
- 1 cup of milk

   Throw all the ingredients into a blender and run for 30 seconds - done!
