I chose five of their mini nail polishes to review: Wichita, La Paz, Touch of Provence, Graphic and Nice.
This nail colour really is 'nice'! It's a subtle shade of orange, different to most I've seen on the market which are rather loud. It has a slight glimmer which is nice, but on the other hand, needs a few coats before it becomes opaque.
2. Tough of Provence
This was definitely my favourite colour! I was looking down at every available point in the day so I could admire how pretty the colour made my nails look. From their 'Art Colours' range, this pastel lilac polish is a lot more opaque than the rest, and so only needs one or two coats at the very most.
This was my least favourite polish. I loved the how the creamy white colour appeared in the bottle, however when I painted it on, it became streaky and needed at least three coats to appear even remotely opaque, as you can see from the photos below. Maybe it would be best as a base colour beneath a pattern or glitter.
This polish is an adorable bubblegum pink colour - definitely in with this season's brights. It was easy to paint on and really made my nails pop!
4. La Paz
This was also one of my favourites. A stunning sunset red that gleamed in the light and didn't look too dark or too light, it was the perfect colour for me - and only needed two coats to look this fabulous!
Overall, these particular Mavala products deserve a 6/10, in my opinion. The opacity let the score down, with only two really worth the extra coats.
The drying time was pretty fast, within half an hour I could do everything as normal.
The range of colours is great for a Summer palette - very bright and eye catching.
The size of the bottle is fairly decent value for money: on average, Mavala Mini Polishes are £9.10 per 10ml, Nails Inc are £11.00 per 10ml and OPI are £12.43 per 10ml.
